Picture Book is closing at noon for a private event at HudCo. We’ll be back open Tuesday at 9am.

Come wish Austin best of luck on his new venture and get your final Boxing Day Café latte or matcha on his last day at HudCo. Austin will be opening his all-day breakfast cafe Aussie’s in the old waffle shop space in Hastings this fall. I am so grateful for all of the collaboration and community Austin brought during his residence at HudCo and am looking forward to stocking books in the new shop!

Open to all: A HudCo midsummer market with flowers, jewelry, ear piercings, tarot readings, books, coffee, and more. Stop by and soak up the best of summer.

This Thursday, May 7th, local community bookstore, Picture Book, will be hosting a pop-up table right outside Community Nursery School’s famous red door during pick-up! 

The owner of Picture Book, Sara, is a CNS parent alum and will be bringing a table full of amazing children's books for sale. She is also donating 10% of the proceeds from this event back to CNS, so think of it as a fundraiser where you get to take home the best books!

Sara plans to be outside of CNS for the 11:30, 11:45, 1:15 and 2PM pickup times, weather permitting.

Joyful Workshop with Psychiatrist and author Dr. Jennifer Reid. Join us at Joyful Dermatology for an interactive evening inspired by Guilt Free: Reclaiming Your Life from Unreasonable Expectations by Dr. Jennifer Reid, board-certified psychiatrist and creator of the A Mind of Her Own podcast and Substack.

Through engaging exercises, Dr. Reid will guide us in exploring the expectations that drive so much of women’s guilt and how we can begin to let them go.

We will also be joined by Dr. Luyi Kathy Zhang, hypnotist and palliative care physician, who will lead a guided hypnosis experience designed to help quiet the subconscious programming of guilt and to enhance self-compassion. 

Expect a lively evening of insight, connection, and a few guilty pleasures along the way.
