Join us to Read Together!

After a successful event inspired by Gretchen Rubin in June, we’re continuing to meet up at the bookshop in HudCo’s cafe to read for 25 minutes this July 2025 to help build the valuable habit of making time to read every day.  Research shows that reading is good for us: it benefits mental health, sharpens the brain, makes us more empathetic, helps us learn, and increases our tolerance for uncertainty. And most importantly, it’s fun!

Meet us in the café section around Picture Book inside HudCo and take 25 minutes to read silently together. You are welcome to bring your own book, or ask for recommendations. Come early to get a beverage from Boxing Day Café or to pick out your next read from Picture Book.
